Black Butter and Honey Sauce for Mackerel

A-1 Honey makes such a great sauce!


  • 4 oz butter
  • sprig of parseley
  • chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and allow it to brown, being careful not to burn it.
  2. Add the parsley and cook for a few seconds, then remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Add the wine vinegar and the honey and stir.
